A Beautiful Night for Football - A New Generation (Part III)

It's game day again, and the Cats are back in town.

After an amazing experience in Toronto last week, watching our Cats clobber the Argoooos, I am looking forward to returning to my favorite sports venue - and this evening proves to be a special one.

As I mentioned last week, I plan on taking my 20 month old daughter to her first Tabbies game. I have been keeping an eye on the weather, but it looks a little hit and miss tonight. There is an 80% chance of thundershowers - 1-3mm, although it's going to be 28 and it will feel like 34 with the humidity.

There is your Lawrence Thomas weather report for this evening.

Anyway, the tickets are purchased and either way, I'll be there ready for whatever the evening deals me.

I have made a couple of lists for tonights game. I want to make sure my daughters 1st experience at Ivor Wynne is a memorable one. First on my list - a cell phone.

If it's pouring before we leave, obviously this segment of my series will have to be postponed to the next afternoon game. Preferably September 6th vs. BC, as opposed to a little colder October 4th vs. Montreal. If we make it to the game and umbrellas and rain coats and rain boots aren't enough to keep my little girl comfortable, I will call my wife to come save her. I may stay.

If weather forces us to postpone our daddy-daughter date, I have a back-up angle planned for tonights story.

I will leave you with my two lists - as they stand now.

Please check this posting within the next couple of days for the link to this article. For those of you who are on Facebook, you can click on the Facebook bar at the bottom of this blog to read my story when it's available. For those of you who are still fighting the urge to sign up for this online class reunion, I will post the link to my article on this blog when I upload it.

Have a great day, and stay tuned for part III of this series. Go Cats Go!
